The work we do is more important than ever in these times. That is why the three of us - Rosa Zubizarreta, Holger Scholz and Matthias zur Bonsen - would like to call on you and invite you to a “Dynamic Facilitation Deep Dive” with the motto “Facilitating Democracy”.
By “democracy” here, of course, we mean much more than just democracy in politics. For many of us, democracy has to do with helping people to be heard and to find common ground - in our communities, in our schools, in companies, in non-profit organizations ...
Therefore, we have formulated a “Calling question”: “What have we learned about democracy through our practice with Dynamic Facilitation? What have we tried out and what have we learned about the process itself?”
In our two-day immersion in Dynamic Facilitation we will
- create a field of shared exploration
- learn from each other
- generate new insights
- build community
The future challenges us to build strong learning communities so that we are better prepared for the needs of our time.
Format of the Deep Dive
The first day of our meeting will offer an extended opportunity to be in the “DF Space” where we can experience our respective unique ways of working with Dynamic Facilitation. We will talk together about a “burning question” and some of us will have the opportunity to facilitate. The experience of DF will alternate with meta-reflection on the process we are experiencing.
On the second day, we will work in an open space format on the topics that interest us. A variety of questions about DF can be dealt with and interesting experiences can be contributed. We already have some interesting topics in mind, and you will certainly bring some with you.
